SK Hynix labor, management reach revised deal, bonus stock ratio cut to 50 percent
SK Hynix labor and management have drawn up a revised tentative agreement by restructuring the performance bonus payment scheme after a previous deal was rejected. The revised plan changes the basic split from 40 percent cash and 60 percent stock to an even 50-50 division. Employees can choose a stock portion from 50 percent up to 100 percent in 10 percent steps. The union will hold a member vote on Sept. 15-16.

A tentative 2026 wage and collective agreement reached by SK Hynix labor and management after two months of talks was rejected in a union vote. The union said 50.08 percent voted against and 49.92 percent voted in favor, a margin of 25 votes. Turnout was 93.81 percent, with 15,045 of 16,083 members participating. The sides will return to negotiations, with talks expected to focus on the performance bonus payment structure.
