Korea Investment Trust Management publishes ISA pension guidebook

Korea Investment Trust Management said on Thursday it published an \'ISA Pension Guidebook\' outlining asset management strategies linking individual savings accounts (ISA) with pension accounts. The guidebook explains stages from building a lump sum through an ISA to transferring funds at maturity and creating retirement income. It highlights long-term tax-saving strategies and asset allocation using exchange-traded funds. It also introduces transferring ISA proceeds to pension accounts within 60 days to receive additional tax credits.

KB Asset Management launches RISE Samsung Electronics-SK Hynix bond balanced 50 ETF

KB Asset Management said on Feb. 26 it launched the RISE Samsung Electronics-SK Hynix bond balanced 50 ETF, which invests 25 percent each in Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix and 50 percent in high-grade bonds such as short-term government bonds. The firm said the structure maximises exposure to the two companies while spreading risk compared with single-stock investing. It is classified as a safe asset for retirement pensions and can be held at 100 percent in retirement pension accounts.

KB Securities\' embedded finance assets top 1 trillion won

KB Securities said on Thursday that its embedded finance assets under management surpassed 1 trillion won as of end-January 2026. Embedded finance refers to offering financial products or services within platforms consumers use in daily life. The firm said its AUM rose fivefold in two years from 200 billion won in January 2024. It also said linked accounts topped 440,000 and tax-saving accounts such as ISA, IRP and pension accounts now account for 24 percent of AUM.
