IBK Industrial Bank of Korea introduces rate discount for remote loans to SME workers
IBK Industrial Bank of Korea said on Tuesday it has introduced a scheme to cut interest rates on remote loans by up to 0.6 percentage points for employees working at small and medium-sized enterprises. Eligible borrowers receive a basic rate discount of up to 0.4 percentage points based on length of employment, with additional reductions for workers at regional firms and for people aged 34 and under. The programme covers three i-ONE remote loan products.

NH NongHyup Bank launches local settlement finance package, bolsters support outside capital
NH NongHyup Bank said on April 17 it will launch a “local settlement finance package” from the end of this month for regions outside the Seoul metropolitan area to support local economic revitalisation and balanced national development. The programme will run through end-2026 with a 1 trillion won cap for new mortgage borrowers. It will offer a 0.2 percentage-point preferential rate, waive early repayment fees and have the bank cover stamp duty in full.
