U.S. SEC sets 2027 exam priorities, flags AI superintelligence and tokenisation risks

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has added AI superintelligence and tokenisation to its examination priorities for fiscal 2027, expanding its review of technology risks in capital markets. The SEC’s Division of Examinations said it will assess how AI tools used by registered firms affect compliance programmes and fraud detection. It also listed risks tied to evolving market infrastructure, including tokenisation and related developments. The priorities apply to more than 34,000 registered entities.

Korea Creative Content Agency joins ethics management cooperation with five public institutions running overseas networks

The Korea Creative Content Agency said on Oct. 26 it signed an integrity and ethics management agreement with five public institutions that operate overseas networks and will build a joint response system. The six organisations held their first working-level meeting on Oct. 23 in Seoul to share the status and cases of ethics management for overseas networks. They plan to benchmark each other’s systems and prepare a joint declaration and checklist.

Genon launches GenGuard AI security solution with natural-language policy setting

Genon, a generative AI solutions company, said on Oct. 26 it has launched GenGuard, an enterprise AI security solution. The product judges and blocks requests sent to AI services and generated responses based on security policies set by companies, and can be used regardless of whether GenOS is adopted. GenGuard supports natural-language policy settings and privacy protection, and the company also disclosed a lightweight guardrail model and a Korean policy evaluation dataset.
