Apple is enhancing the Notes app in iOS 27 with new tools for organizing and navigating long notes. The update adds divider lines and supports links that jump to headings or subheadings within the same note. Siri AI integration is expanded to create notes, add content and insert answers directly, including to specific notes. Markdown support is broadened with automatic formatting on paste and a new copy-as-Markdown option. The app also gets UI changes and updated icons, including shared folder indicators.

A warning has emerged that crypto wallet information could be stolen on an iPhone simply by opening a malicious web page in Safari. Ledger Chief Technology Officer Charles Guillemet said an iOS attack chain dubbed “Darksword” is being used in real attacks and urged users to review how they store seed phrases and other sensitive wallet data.
