SK Broadband wins Red Dot Award to sweep three international design prizes
SK Broadband said on Tuesday its AI 5 set-top box and Giga WiFi 7 won the main prize at Germany’s Red Dot Design Award 2026. The company said it was its fourth Red Dot win, following awards for earlier set-top box models in 2020, 2021 and 2025. The two products also won Japan’s Good Design Award and the main prize at Germany’s iF Design Award 2026.

Woori Bank\'s WooriWON Banking wins iF Design Award
Woori Bank said on March 23 that its mobile finance platform WooriWON Banking won main prizes at the 2026 iF Design Award in the branding and communication design category and the app and software category. The iF Design Award is a global design competition hosted by Germany’s International Forum Design. The platform was praised for data-based personalisation, scalability and its design system.

Inventec unveils VeilBook concept laptop with sliding keyboard to improve cooling
Taiwan contract electronics manufacturer Inventec unveiled the experimental VeilBook laptop concept, which improves cooling by physically shifting the keyboard. The 14-inch concept device has an ultrathin chassis under 10 mm and uses a sliding keyboard that can be pushed back to reveal the touchpad while fully opening ventilation. The design aims to reduce heat during high-load use and lower throttling risk, but may require reliance on shortcuts or an external mouse.
