KT said on Thursday that KT Square’s media art video “Tiki-taka Choreography” and the “KT UX Design System” each won a main prize at the iF Design Award 2026, in the branding and communication and UI (user interface) categories, respectively.

Hosted by Germany’s iF International Forum, the iF Design Award is considered one of the world’s three major design awards along with Germany’s Red Dot Design Award and the United States’ IDEA Design Award. This year’s competition drew about 10,000 entries from 68 countries.

The “Tiki-taka Choreography” video, which won in the branding and communication category, expresses KT’s AI brand “K Intelligence” with Korean yet sensuous visual beauty. It depicts a new start for the KT Gwanghwamun Building West through dynamic dance. The work applied an anamorphic 3D effect to maximise a sense of spatial depth and heighten immersion.

KT will hold special screenings of the “Tiki-taka Choreography” video throughout March to mark the iF Design Award win. The video can be viewed at KT Square on the exterior wall of the KT Gwanghwamun Building West, located at Gwanghwamun Square.

The KT UX Design System, which won in the UI category, is an integrated design system intended to provide a consistent user experience across KT’s various digital services. It received high marks for building a collaborative environment in which designers and developers can communicate in real time, going beyond visual guidelines.

The system, in particular, proved its scalability to maintain consistent UX even in new service environments such as AI agents. It was recognised for its value as a design standard for a future agentic AI environment.

Yoon Tae-sik (윤태식), head of KT’s Brand Strategy Office and a managing director, said, “We will continue to present differentiated content unique to KT Square as an open global media platform and provide customers with an enjoyable and varied brand experience.”
