KTis expands 02-114 lifestyle services from heatwave shelters to taxi bookings
KTis is expanding its 02-114 directory service to offer lifestyle support ahead of heatwaves and the rainy season. The service provides information on nearby heatwave shelters, late-night pharmacies, and companies offering air-conditioner repairs, dehumidifier rentals and flooding-related drainage and disinfection work. It also runs a taxi booking assistance service for older people who find smartphone apps difficult to use. Operating hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Shinhan Bank opens branches as heatwave shelters for vulnerable groups
Shinhan Bank will operate its branches nationwide as “heatwave shelters” to reduce damage from summer heatwaves. The bank said on Sunday it will run the program through Sept. 30. The move follows a business agreement signed with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to promote use of heatwave shelters. Shinhan Bank will attach guidance stickers at branches and plans to strengthen air-conditioning and management of waiting areas.

Hana Bank to run \'heatwave shelters\' at branches nationwide
Hana Bank will open its branches nationwide as public rest areas to help people cope with summer heatwaves and heavy rain. The bank said on May 19 it will operate \'heatwave shelters\' that anyone can use during business hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Sept. 30. The shelters will be available to all residents regardless of whether they are Hana Bank customers, and free cold bottled water will be provided.
