Shinhan Bank will open its branches nationwide as heatwave shelters to help prevent heat-related illness and support local residents in staying safe during the summer.
Shinhan Bank said on July 31 it will operate its branches nationwide as “heatwave shelters” through Sept. 30.
The shelters were 마련됐다 in line with a business agreement Shinhan Bank signed with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to promote use of heatwave shelters.
Each branch has an information sticker indicating whether it operates as a heatwave shelter. Shinhan Bank is also managing cooling facilities and waiting areas so users can stay in a comfortable environment.
A Shinhan Bank official said, “With the heat wave continuing, we hope this helps local residents avoid the heat and rest safely at nearby branches.”
