Nationwide \'Everyone\'s AI\' to face first test on Oct. 16 with SKT, KT and Kakao

KT holds \'AI for Everyone\' summit, checks service readiness with 17 firms

KT held the \'AI for Everyone Connect Summit 2026\' in Seoul on Sunday and said it plans to officially launch its \'AI for Everyone\' service in December. The integrated service aims to connect various domestic AI models and everyday services, linking participating companies\' technologies to offer AI services across areas including search, education, finance, content and real estate. KT bets on \'Ium\' for AI-for-all push, aiming to embed open ecosystem in daily life

KT is pushing an AI ecosystem for the public built around its IumInside framework, aiming to connect high-touch consumer services into a single AI experience. The company said IumInside links external services and an AI agent bidirectionally using an MCP-based approach. Partners include Daum, Musinsa, Zigbang, EBS, MassPresso and BC Card, with more than 60 million combined service touchpoints. KT targets a December launch and is considering some paid services later.
