Nexon Games to use Korea Tourism data for \'Woochi The Wayfarer\' backgrounds under MOU
Nexon Games will use South Korean natural and cultural heritage data held by the Korea Tourism Organization to build backgrounds for its new game, \'Woochi The Wayfarer\'. The two sides signed a development-support memorandum of understanding on Sept. 11, Nexon Games said. Under the deal, the tourism body will provide about 70,000 images and about 1,000 videos, including drone footage and content covering sites and landscapes that are difficult to obtain privately.

Nexon Games posts 10.5 billion won operating loss in first half on stock compensation cost reversal
Nexon Games posted first-half consolidated revenue of 83.0 billion won and an operating loss of 10.5 billion won, it said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday. Net loss was 13.2 billion won. Revenue fell 8 percent from a year earlier due to the downward stabilisation of some live games. The company said losses narrowed as previously recognised stock-based compensation costs were reversed in the second quarter after awards to executives lapsed for failing to meet conditions.

Nexon Games speeds up new release schedule, steps up second-half lineup
Nexon Games is stepping up its new game push in the second half, unveiling a lineup that includes Sudden Attack: Zero Point, Project RX and DNF Raising. Sudden Attack: Zero Point enters global early access on Steam on July 30, excluding South Korea. Project RX debuted an offline experience space at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles and plans to attend Tokyo Game Show 2026 in September. DNF Raising is in development for a domestic launch within the year.
