Apple weighs $200 to $500 price for first smart glasses, aims for mass market

Samsung, Google unveil Android XR glasses set for second-half launch
Samsung Electronics and Google unveiled two Android XR-based AI glasses for the first time at Google I/O 2026 in Mountain View, California. The glasses were designed by eyewear brands Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, marking the first release of actual designs since the partnership was announced in December. The companion device has no display but includes a speaker, camera and microphone for voice-driven features linked to Galaxy AI phones and Google’s Gemini.
