South Korea\'s KOSPI fell more than 5 percent soon after the open on Tuesday, triggering a sell sidecar that temporarily halted program sell orders on the main board. As of 9:09 a.m., the index was down 381.32 points, or 5.64 percent, at 6,374.43. Foreign investors and institutions were net sellers, while retail investors bought. Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix fell, while Samsung Biologics rose.

Bitcoin whale inflows drop while retail holds, widening Binance gap
The gap between whale and retail Bitcoin inflows to Binance has widened, with whale inflows falling faster over the past 30 days, CryptoQuant said. Whale inflows totalled $3.9 billion, down 44.3 percent from a June peak, while retail inflows were $7.8 billion, down 22 percent, leaving retail about twice as large. Attention is shifting to the July 28-29 FOMC meeting and a July 29 rate decision.

Bitcoin spot ETFs see two-day outflows after seven-day inflow run
Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds posted net outflows for a second straight day, snapping a run of inflows over the past seven trading sessions. Total outflows over two days reached $465 million, with most coming from BlackRock’s IBIT. Data showed $240 million in outflows on July 25 and $225 million the prior day, offsetting about half of the roughly $1 billion that had entered over the previous seven sessions.
