Webcash to expand public finance AX, automating data search, analysis and routine tasks with AI

Webcash has proposed a plan to apply artificial intelligence to public agency fiscal work to automate data searches and analysis as well as repetitive tasks. The company said it held a “Public Finance AX Strategy Seminar” from Sept. 1 to 9 across four regions including Seoul, Naju, Daejeon and Busan for officials in finance, treasury and audit roles. It introduced cases using an AI agent, OPERIA, and a platform called AXPort.

Firefighters to get communications priority in disasters; MSIT selects 8 proactive administration cases

South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT selected 8 cases as top proactive administration examples, including a system change to prioritise firefighters’ communications over general users during disasters such as major fires. The ministry also recognised an internal project that used AI vibe coding to build a startup integrated management web app without outsourcing. Other selected cases included expanding a data safety option across all plans without fee increases and a nationwide survey and compensation system for shared internet equipment electricity charges.

HR feels AI-driven work change fastest, HCG speeds up HR AI agents

Human Consulting Group (HCG), which started as an HR consulting firm, is accelerating development of HR AI agents and expanding AI features across its HR products. Park Tae-seo (박태서), head of its AI×HR R&D Center, said HR is the area that feels AI-driven changes in work fastest and that proactive 대응 could help spread HR-led AI transformation. The company is adding AI assistants, dashboards and agents, while supporting custom agent builds on cloud and on-premises.
