Nexth adds DSRV as Wonchain validator, expands validator network

Nexth said on Oct. 27 that blockchain infrastructure company DSRV has joined as a Wonchain validator. DSRV will use its own node infrastructure to take part in block production and transaction validation for Wonchain Mainnet 2.0, and also participate in network operations and security maintenance. DSRV, founded in 2019, provides on-chain infrastructure services such as nodes, wallets, custody and staking to financial institutions and companies.

Hong Kong designates Nasdaq-listed Solana Company as strategic enterprise, only blockchain infrastructure firm

Hong Kong has designated Nasdaq-listed Solana Company as a strategic enterprise under a government programme to attract firms that support the city’s economic development, Cointelegraph reported. Solana Company was selected for the programme and is the only blockchain infrastructure firm accepted by Hong Kong’s Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises in 2026. The company said the designation will provide a single point of contact across government departments and regulators and speed up overseas hiring, while also supporting links with local institutional partners.

Former Ripple CTO says XRP rebound hinges on wider financial adoption of XRPL

Former Ripple Chief Technology Officer David Schwartz said XRP demand and value are likely to rise if the XRP Ledger (XRPL) gains wider use in financial services. He said it was unlikely XRPL could be highly successful in financial applications while XRP lacked strong demand, unless one dominant settlement asset emerged. Participants also discussed the fee-burn mechanism, saying it was designed to prevent spam and had limited direct impact on price.
