Coinfello releases open-source MetaMask skill for AI agents to execute onchain trades without private keys
Coinfello, an AI agent platform, released an open-source skill that lets AI agents connect to MetaMask and execute onchain transactions without handling users\' private keys. The skill supports MaltBot, a personal AI agent based on OpenClaw, enabling it to trade specified amounts of cryptocurrency from an existing MetaMask wallet. It is built on the MetaMask Smart Account Kit using ERC-4337 smart accounts and ERC-7710 delegation.

Circle launches Nanopayments testnet for tiny USDC payments
Circle launched its “Nanopayments” micro-payment USDC infrastructure on a testnet for AI agents and autonomous software. Built on Circle Gateway, it targets environments requiring fast, small-unit payments, including pay-per-call APIs, usage-based billing and machine-to-machine marketplaces. Circle said it solves sub-cent payment limits by batching transactions off-chain and settling them on-chain in bulk. The testnet supports multiple blockchains including Arbitrum, Base and Ethereum.

Zcash down 60 percent from November peak after Cypherpunk halts additional buying
Privacy coin Zcash has fallen about 60 percent from its high in November 2025. Interest is focusing on a possible correlation between the decline and Cypherpunk Technologies, a digital asset treasury company focused on Zcash, halting additional purchases after Dec. 30. Cypherpunk rebranded last November and bought ZEC three times, ending with about 290,000 tokens, or about 1.76 percent of total supply. It is now holding the assets without further buying.
