Why bitcoin cannot clear $80,000 as oil surge to $100 adds pressure

$1.4 billion moves even when Wall Street rests as tokenised stocks rise

Tokenised products tracking stock prices traded more than $1.4 billion while U.S. equity markets were closed for the Labor Day holiday, data showed. CoinGecko data compiled for 42 major tokens across Robinhood, bStocks, xStocks and Ondo Global Markets showed weekend turnover of $1.01 billion, similar to Friday\'s $1.02 billion. Robinhood chain accounted for 57 percent of weekend volume. The most traded token tracked the Nasdaq 100 ETF QQQ.

Ethena launches Ethena Pay beta on Avalanche, expands USDe payments

Ethena has started a beta service for Ethena Pay, linking its stablecoin USDe directly to consumer payments using Avalanche as a single settlement layer. The self-custody iOS app begins with 400 early-access users and targets 49 countries, with the United States, the European Union, Britain and Canada to be supported later. The service combines wallet transfers, fiat on-ramps and a Visa card, with yields and cashback subject to tiered caps and conditions.
