Poland coal power share falls nearly 20 points in four years as renewables expand

Coal’s position in Poland’s power market is shrinking as renewable generation rises. Coal’s share of total output fell to 52.7 percent in 2025 from 72.5 percent in 2021, while renewables climbed to 31.4 percent. Gas generation also increased. Despite lower output, coal plants remain as reserve capacity to support grid stability, and high-emissions units can still join capacity auctions under EU exemptions until end-2028.

Naver pivots from search to AI infrastructure with \'AI factory\' push

Naver is positioning AI infrastructure as a new growth pillar, moving beyond domestic search, shopping and advertising into B2B infrastructure aimed at global AI computing demand. Its core project is an “AI factory” 추진 with Nvidia. Plans call for ramping capacity from 55MW in the first half of next year to 200MW by end-2028, with a long-term goal of 1GW.
