U.S. court rules Krafton\'s firing of Unknown Worlds CEO was unfair, orders reinstatement
A U.S. court has ruled that Krafton\'s dismissal of Unknown Worlds\' management was unfair and ordered the reinstatement of the fired chief executive. The Delaware Court of Chancery said Krafton must return operational control of the studio, including authority over the release of Subnautica 2, and extend the calculation period for conditional earn-out payments by 258 days. A separate damages lawsuit will continue.

Krafton posted its highest-ever annual revenue, topping 3 trillion won, driven by record growth in its PUBG: Battlegrounds IP and the market settling of new titles. Krafton posts 2025 operating profit of 1.05 trillion won, down 10.8 percent
Krafton set a record annual revenue in 2025 but posted lower operating profit as one-off costs were booked. The company reported revenue of 3.33 trillion won, up 22.8 percent, and operating profit of 1.05 trillion won, down 10.8 percent. PC and mobile segments led sales, while fourth-quarter operating profit was 2.4 billion won. Krafton outlined plans to expand franchise IP, launch new games and pursue AI-based initiatives.
