Nvidia acts as matchmaker for data centres in Nordics
Nvidia is reported to be helping connect companies that have secured its graphics processing units with data centre operators in Northern Europe, supporting AI infrastructure deals. Sources said it has sounded out Nordic operators and sought customers willing to pre-commit to buying or leasing capacity, sometimes without naming specific clients. CFO Colette Kress acknowledged some involvement in June, citing efforts to help secure land, power and buildings.

FuriosaAI to build 15 MW data centre in Sweden with RNGD
FuriosaAI said on Tuesday it will join U.S. AI infrastructure company I/ONX HPC and data centre developer and operator Velox in a project to build a 15 MW AI data centre in Stockholm, Sweden. The first 2 MW phase is set to start operating in early 2027, with another 8 MW added within the year and a longer-term expansion to 15 MW. FuriosaAI will supply 1,800 RNGD accelerators in phase one.

LG Uplus to target global voice AI market with ixi-O
LG Uplus is working with global telecoms equipment maker Ericsson to develop network-based voice AI solutions and expand its global business. The companies will jointly develop technology and system integration, pursue global business for voice AI solutions, design and implement AI-native network architecture and run pre-verification for global cloud environments. They plan to complete technical verification within the year and implement next-generation services where AI functions as a core element of telecom networks.
