Solana, Tether, XRP Ledger lead new wave in asset tokenisation, reshaping RWA market

Money and user flows in the real-world asset tokenisation market are shifting from Ethereum to other blockchains, a joint report showed. Solana attracted the largest inflows into tokenised funds, while Stellar ranked second and XRP Ledger saw limited inflows. In tokenised stocks, liquidity moved from Ethereum to BNB Chain and Solana. Solana led user growth. In stablecoins, Paxos led issuance growth, while Tether dominated new addresses, mainly on BNB Chain.

Chainlink, Cardano and six groups ask SEC to codify digital commodities as non-securities

Six blockchain organisations including Chainlink Labs and the Cardano Foundation urged the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to formally classify digital commodities as non-securities and reflect that directly in its rules. They submitted a joint letter on Oct. 20 after the agency’s public comment period on proposed crypto asset rules closed. The groups said interpretive guidance alone leaves market participants exposed to legal uncertainty and called for clearer standards for secondary-market trading, staking and other activities.

XRPL on-chain transactions surge 6,000 percent, fuelling XRP rebound hopes

XRP has held the key support level of $1.25 as daily XRPL transaction volume surged to about $49.66 billion, lifting expectations of a rebound to $2. Data tracked by Santiment showed XRPL volume jumped 6,000 percent from around $800 million a day. Analysts pointed to rising on-chain activity and outlined levels including $1.56, $1.10 and longer-term targets. XRPL also saw inflows into tokenised real-world assets.
