Pop star The Weeknd visited Shift Up’s headquarters ahead of his first concert in South Korea in eight years.

Shift Up said on Wednesday that The Weeknd visited its headquarters on Oct. 6, toured the development site and heard explanations about Shift Up games, including "Stellar Blade", and the development process.

The visit took place after The Weeknd, who has shown interest in games, expressed interest in "Stellar Blade" and its developer Shift Up. The Weeknd has recently continued game-related activities, including meeting game developer Yoko Taro, known for the "NieR" series.

During the tour, The Weeknd also played "Stellar Blade: Blood Rain", which is currently under development. Shift Up introduced the game’s development status and the company’s development culture to him.

He also met employees. The Weeknd took photos with Shift Up staff and signed autographs.

The Weeknd came to South Korea for his first concert in the country in eight years. Photos from the Shift Up visit were also posted on The Weeknd’s personal social media accounts.
