SpaceX to try first simultaneous recovery of Starship and booster next month

SpaceX will next month make its first attempt to recover both the Starship spacecraft and the Super Heavy booster at the same time. Elon Musk said on an earnings call that the company will try to recover both vehicles on the next flight. He said success would mark the first full recovery of an orbital launch vehicle, though he did not guarantee it. SpaceX plans continued Starship flights through year-end and more tests next year.

SpaceX to spend up to 53 trillion won on AI infrastructure, says payback under a year

SpaceX is expanding investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure, its third-quarter results show. The company spent $16.4 billion in AI-related capital expenditure and forecast total capital spending of $35 billion to $40 billion this quarter as new computing facilities come online. CFO Bret Johnsen said the new facilities could recoup investment in less than a year at current prices. SpaceX shares extended gains after investment banks issued positive views. Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas reaffirmed an overweight rating and a $300 price target, saying SpaceX may look expensive on simple valuation comparisons but appears cheaper once expected growth is factored in. Goldman Sachs analyst Eric Sheridan kept a buy rating and raised his target to $230 from $220. SpaceX market capitalisation rose above $2.3 trillion.
