Salesforce runs \'Slack Campground\' pop-up store
Enterprise software companies that focus on B2B rarely run pop-up stores for the general public, but it is not unheard of. Salesforce held a pop-up store event on April 24 and 25 at the COEX lawn plaza to introduce the public to various AI functions offered by its collaboration and communications platform Slack. Planned by Salesforce Korea, it was the company’s first offline event for the general public.

Salesforce declares agentic work OS with Slackbot, says it can call ChatGPT and Claude
Salesforce said it will shift its enterprise collaboration platform Slack into an AI agent-based work operating system. Salesforce Korea CEO Se-jin Park said the goal is an agentic enterprise where people and agents coexist. Slackbot, launched in January, is a built-in personal AI agent that can summarise meetings, automate repetitive work and execute transactions. Slack can also call external AI agents such as Claude and ChatGPT, with more than 2,600 apps connected.

Slack rolls out major upgrade, adds meeting transcription notes and CRM features
Salesforce-owned communications platform Slack has unveiled more than 30 new features as it accelerates a shift from messaging to an AI-based work hub. The update centres on meeting transcription and notes that let Slackbot listen in on meetings in external apps and produce summaries and action items. Slack also introduced Operator Mode, AI Skills and integrations with enterprise apps. It added built-in CRM functions aimed at small and midsize companies.
