Adobe is integrating with Slackbot to support using its apps directly in Slack, including Firefly, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Stock and Lightroom.

TechCrunch reported on Tuesday that Adobe plans to provide more than 70 tools in Slack through the 'Adobe for Slack' MCP app.

Users can describe the task they want in a Slack chat window. Slackbot calls the appropriate Adobe tools by reflecting the conversation and canvas context. This makes it possible to convert chat or canvas information into PDFs, images or videos, or to pull up and edit assets from past campaigns and files from the Creative Cloud asset library in chats.

At launch, the integration will be available to Slack Business+ and Enterprise+ users.

Adobe supported integration for ChatGPT last month and is preparing to expand to Gemini. Deepa Pradeep (디프티 프라딥), senior director of agentic AI at Adobe, said users are using the company's tools for repetitive tasks such as batch image editing and creative resizing without leaving other apps.
