Emro secures first European customer, to supply SRM SaaS solution to energy firm
AI-based supply chain management software company Emro said on Sept. 7 it will supply its SRM SaaS solution, Caidentia, to a European energy solutions company. Emro recently signed a supply contract with a Samsung SDS overseas unit and will provide the solution through that unit. The company said it will offer AI-based bill of materials comparison and analysis and other design-to-source functions. Emro said it plans to accelerate sales in Europe after securing customers in North America.

Emro taps Samsung SDS executive Jo Sang-won as new CEO
AI-based supply chain management software company Emro said on Sunday it has nominated Jo Sang-won, an executive at Samsung SDS, as its next chief executive. Jo, a non-executive director at Emro, previously led global sales and marketing for the SRM software-as-a-service solution Caidentia jointly developed with Samsung SDS. Emro said the appointment aims to boost cooperation with Samsung SDS and accelerate global expansion. The current CEO will step down after completing a three-year term.

Emro unveils agentic AI supply chain solution at Gartner Supply Chain Symposium
Emro, an AI-based supply chain management software company, said on Thursday it took part in the Gartner Supply Chain Symposium & Expo and unveiled an agentic AI-based supply chain management solution. The events, held from May 4 to 20 in Orlando and Barcelona, drew about 5,000 supply chain executives and more than 180 solution companies. Emro joined for a third consecutive year with Samsung SDS.
