[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang (황치규)] AI-based supply chain management software company Emro said on Sept. 7 it will supply its SRM SaaS solution, Caidentia, to a European energy solutions company.
Emro recently signed a solution supply contract with a Samsung SDS overseas unit. Through that unit, it will provide its SRM SaaS solution, Caidentia, to the European energy solutions company.
Emro plans to provide Company A with various design-to-source functions covering areas from new product development to quality planning and management and sourcing. It will include an AI-based automatic comparison and analysis function for bills of materials (BOM).
With the contract, Emro has secured its first customer in Europe, a key global target market along with North America. Emro has already secured 3 customers in North America and plans to accelerate sales activities targeting local European companies, using Company A as a reference.
An Emro official said, "Since beginning its overseas expansion in earnest in 2024, Caidentia has been building a solid reference base by securing leading global companies in key industries in the North American and European markets as customers. Starting with this contract, we will expand our overseas business to Europe and Asia and strengthen our position in the global SRM solution market."
