RippleX engineering head says XRP Ledger agent transactions could hit 100 million within two years

RippleX’s head of engineering expects the number of agent-style transactions on the XRP Ledger to rise rapidly after recently surpassing 1 million. RippleX engineering lead Ayo Akinyele said AI agents trade technical services on XRPL. Transactions on t54.ai\'s on-chain dashboard hit 1,433,836, drawing attention. Uses include financial data, external information services, social-media APIs and AI inference services, with fees starting at 0.003 RLUSD per request.

XRPL AI payments top 1 million transactions as real-world use expands

The XRP ecosystem is expanding its use into AI payments, institutional infrastructure and on-chain lending despite macroeconomic uncertainty. Evernodes CEO Aashish Birla said AI agents processed close to 1 million payments on XRPL in about a month, citing t54ai on-chain data. He said DTCC included XRP in learning materials but it does not mean DTCC will accept it as collateral. RippleX confirmed tests for XLS-66 on-chain lending.
