ITCEN PNS, Palo Alto Networks, Enki WhiteHat team up to counter AI-driven security threats

ITCEN PNS said on Tuesday it will work with Palo Alto Networks and Enki WhiteHat to jointly respond to cyber threats in the frontier AI era. The companies plan to combine ITCEN PNS commercialisation and networks, Palo Alto Networks\' AI-based integrated cybersecurity platform, and Enki WhiteHat\'s hacker knowledge database and AI-driven automated penetration testing. They aim to develop new business models linking frontier AI threat response solutions with offensive security services, starting with South Korean financial clients.

SK Telecom, Upstage launch sovereign AI cybersecurity council with security firms and universities

SK Telecom said it has launched a sovereign AI cybersecurity council with Upstage, South Korean security companies and universities, and signed an agreement to cooperate on AI information security technology. The initiative aims to expand SKT’s A.X K series and Upstage’s Solar, which advanced to stage 3 of the government’s sovereign AI foundation model project, into cybersecurity. Participants will train the models on real-world security data, validate safety and apply them to security products and services.

Selectstar has 5 AI reliability studies accepted at EMNLP 2026

Selectstar said on Sept. 28 that five papers involving its researchers on AI reliability and safety were accepted at EMNLP 2026. They include 1 main conference paper, 1 paper in the official findings proceedings and 3 workshop papers. EMNLP 2026 will be held in Budapest, Hungary, from Oct. 24 to 29. The studies cover evaluation methods, guard model reliability, financial guardrails and phishing detection, and AI safety across cultures.
