ITCEN Group security unit ITCEN PNS said on Tuesday it will cooperate with global AI cybersecurity company Palo Alto Networks and offensive security company Enki WhiteHat to jointly respond to cyber threats in the frontier AI era.
The three companies plan to combine ITCEN PNS' security commercialisation capability and customer and partner network, Palo Alto Networks' AI-based integrated cybersecurity platform, and Enki WhiteHat's hacker knowledge database and AI-driven automated penetration testing technology. They aim to jointly develop new business models that link frontier AI threat response solutions tailored to domestic clients with offensive security services.
ITCEN PNS will integrate and commercialise the platforms and specialised capabilities of Palo Alto Networks and Enki WhiteHat for domestic client environments. It plans to use the AI Security Innovation Center to provide proof-of-concept projects and a technology verification environment, and build a business model spanning attack verification, security consulting, solution deployment and operations.
The three companies agreed to jointly 추진 a business model linking frontier AI threat response solutions and offensive security services. They also agreed to jointly push initiatives including AI red teaming, AI vulnerability and agent security verification, attack-simulation-based security policy verification, and building AI-based security operating frameworks, starting with domestic financial sector clients. They plan to gradually expand cooperation to various industries.
The companies aim to help shift away from security operations focused on after-the-fact responses. They plan to support a move to AI-driven security operations that use AI to detect, analyse and respond to threats more quickly.
Won-gyu Park (박원규), CEO of ITCEN PNS, said, "Advances in frontier AI are accelerating industrial innovation in South Korea while also bringing major changes to the speed and complexity of cyber threats." He said, "By combining Palo Alto Networks' global AI security platform, Enki WhiteHat's attack verification capabilities, and ITCEN PNS' commercialisation and technical support capabilities, we will innovate customers' security operations systems based on AI and lead a shift in South Korea's security paradigm."
