[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Big data analysis AI company S2W said on Sept. 10 it will join the Daybreak Defense Network, a global partner ecosystem for OpenAI-led cybersecurity initiative Daybreak.

Daybreak focuses on helping security teams at companies and institutions proactively find, verify and fix vulnerabilities using OpenAI frontier models and an application security agent called Codex Security.

S2W said joining the program will enable it to carry out vulnerability discovery, verification and resolution, as well as threat modeling and security investigations, on a broader scale.

It plans to review ways to link its technologies and products so they can create synergies with OpenAI frontier cyber capabilities, Security Guardrail and autonomous AI agents. It also plans to explore how they can be used in related businesses, including AI red teaming.

Sang-deok Seo (서상덕), S2W's chief executive, said he believes the company's cooperation references with overseas public-sector partners, including INTERPOL and government agencies in Asia, the Middle East and Europe, as well as its experience participating in a Microsoft-led technology ecosystem, played a major role in its inclusion. He said the company will use this as an opportunity to further solidify technical trust in S2W in global markets, strengthen its overseas business base and expand customer touchpoints.
