Hoskinson says RealFi testnet is key pillar to grow Cardano DeFi
Charles Hoskinson (찰스 호스킨슨) has described Cardano\'s RealFi as a core service that can raise total value locked and on-chain transactions. He said the protocol structure locks deposited assets to generate returns that are redistributed, creating on-chain activity through deposits, withdrawals and yield distribution. His comments followed early traction for the phase-one testnet, with more than 1,000 participants and nearly 500 verified wallets. RealFi aims to link DeFi with real-world finance services.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson (찰스 호스킨슨) said Cardano could return to the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market value by the end of 2026. He said Cardano could finish 2026 in a much stronger position and secure greater upward momentum in 2027. ADA has climbed from 18th to 15th this month, after briefly reaching 13th. ADA’s market value is $6.11 billion, and it would need to rise about 88 percent to overtake Dogecoin, now in 10th place.
