Apple iPhone Duo teardown raises suspicions about hinge

A teardown of Apple’s first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, suggests early display failures may be tied to the hinge’s internal structure. Repair specialist iFixit said damage reports could be linked to where a cable passage meets the central hinge support. It built a 3D hinge model using CT scans, teardown video and Apple patents and outlined several possible causes, while saying it could not confirm a direct cause from the analysis alone.

Blockchain outlet U.Today reported that Mastercard representatives reacted favorably while outlining partner pitch requirements. An XRPL community member posted that Mastercard praised RLUSD during the session. The 36-hour event focused on autonomous payments using AI agents and included more than $40,000 in prizes, with several firms involved in mentoring and judging.

Solana, Tether, XRP Ledger lead new wave in asset tokenisation, reshaping RWA market

Money and user flows in the real-world asset tokenisation market are shifting from Ethereum to other blockchains, a joint report showed. Solana attracted the largest inflows into tokenised funds, while Stellar ranked second and XRP Ledger saw limited inflows. In tokenised stocks, liquidity moved from Ethereum to BNB Chain and Solana. Solana led user growth. In stablecoins, Paxos led issuance growth, while Tether dominated new addresses, mainly on BNB Chain.
