[DigitalToday reporter Yoonseo Lee] JPMorgan has officially launched two tokenised money market funds on the Solana blockchain.
On Oct. 22 local time, blockchain media outlet U.Today reported that qualified U.S. investors can access the My Onchain Net Yield Fund (MONY) and the JPMorgan Onchain Liquidity-Token Money Market Fund (JLTXX) through Morgan Money.
The launch is a case of JPMorgan expanding support to Solana after first introducing tokenised funds on Ethereum. JPMorgan is expanding the supply of blockchain-based financial products, and the move strengthened its structure for providing tokenisation services across multiple blockchains.
Investors can subscribe to and redeem the two funds through Morgan Money. Tokens are then delivered to a blockchain address. Morgan Money is JPMorgan’s liquidity management service, designed to allow institutional investors to manage tokenised investment assets in one place without using separate platforms for different blockchains.
The two products target different institutional demand. MONY is a private fund launched on Ethereum in December 2025 that provides dollar yields to qualified investors. JLTXX is a U.S.-registered government money market fund. It is designed to support demand from stablecoin issuers to manage reserves. JPMorgan previously tokenised and launched JLTXX on Ethereum in May 2026, when it committed $100 million of its own capital.
The launch shows that traditional financial institutions’ tokenisation of real-world assets is continuing on Solana. Tokenised money market funds represent fund units as blockchain-based tokens, aimed at improving efficiency in asset transfers and record management. Unlike Sol (SOL), Solana’s native cryptocurrency, these tokens represent rights to investment products.
With this expansion, JPMorgan is broadening the availability of tokenised financial services to multiple blockchains including Solana. In particular, JLTXX targets demand from stablecoin issuers for reserve management, which is being read as a move to broaden its use at the intersection of tokenised assets and stablecoin operations.
Still, how much capital was allocated to the two funds in connection with the Solana launch was not disclosed. As a result, the scale of actual inflows and the pace of adoption will need to be confirmed later.
