Shinhan Financial to expand financial cooperation with Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, strengthen Central Asia network

Shinhan Financial Group is expanding its Central Asia financial network by signing agreements with government and state-owned financial institutions in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The group said it signed deals on Sept. 14 to 15 with Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade and Kazakhstan’s state development finance group Baiterek. In Uzbekistan, the parties will pursue up to $200 million in funding support and discuss joint investment projects and project financing.

DB Securities corporate bond bookbuilding draws 660 billion won of orders for 150 billion won offer

DB Securities said it attracted 660 billion won of valid buy orders in bookbuilding for its unsecured public corporate bonds, against an initial offering size of 150 billion won, a 4.4-to-1 bid-to-cover ratio. It plans to increase the issuance to up to 200 billion won. Orders were 340 billion won for 70 billion won of 1.5-year notes and 320 billion won for 80 billion won of 3-year notes.
