Korea media watchdog to step up monitoring of violent videos targeting children and teens

South Korea\'s Broadcasting Media Communication Deliberation Committee said on Tuesday it will conduct focused monitoring of brutal and hateful content, including violent videos targeting children and teenagers. The move follows the spread on social media and online individual broadcasts of videos that encourage fights like games and show victims\' physical and mental suffering. It will also check for identity exposure and monetisation, and seek quick deletions and access blocks.

Woowa Youths to support return to work for riders involved in accidents

Woowa Youths has held safety training to support riders returning to delivery work after accidents. The company, which handles logistics services for Baedal Minjok, said it provided safety capability training on July 21 at Baemin Academy Seoul for Baemin Connect riders with accident experience. The program was set up under a safety agreement for delivery platform workers and focuses on preventing repeat accidents, including psychological recovery and support for resuming safe driving.
