Google appears set to add a \"Proactive Assistance\" feature to Gemini that suggests needed information before users ask. Gemini would use on-screen content, notifications and data from connected apps such as Gmail and Calendar. Google says processing stays on-device with encrypted storage and is not used for model training or human review. Release details are not disclosed.
