Disney former CEO says he wanted merger with Apple; why big-deal plan fell apart
Bob Iger, Disney\'s former chief executive, said he examined the possibility of a merger between Disney and Apple but it did not lead to a deal. In an interview, Iger said the idea was discussed at one point. He also said that even after Steve Jobs died he wanted to complete the transaction, but Apple did not take it very seriously. Iger also revisited a previously considered acquisition of X, formerly Twitter.

Epic develops extraction shooter using Disney characters, report says
Epic Games is developing an extraction shooter using Disney intellectual property, and it could be unveiled as early as November, a report said. Engadget said it is seen internally as the most promising of three Disney-related projects at Epic. The game is described as similar to Arc Raiders, with players gathering resources and escaping, but featuring Disney characters fighting enemies. It is unclear whether it will be standalone or a Fortnite mode.
