Tech Insight: Why AI UIs need redesign beyond the chat window
Product designer Maxim Kich argues that AI interfaces need a fundamental redesign because advanced model capabilities are still confined to messenger-style chat windows. He says long conversations bury ideas and make context hard to retain. Citing research, he notes that language and thought differ, and linear chat does not match how thinking works. KT, Seoul National University Hospital to build medical AX platform
KT will work with Seoul National University Hospital to build a medical AI transformation (AX) platform, signing a memorandum of understanding in Seoul on Aug. 17. The two sides will jointly pursue a standard model for the platform, verification and advancement of government policy projects such as AI-native hospitals, AI-based clinical decision support and work efficiency, and broader expansion into the healthcare market. KT will take part across planning, development, validation and commercialisation.

Hana Bank to expand financial support in Incheon, launch 200 billion won unicorn fund
Hana Bank will expand financial support for young people, low-income groups and small merchants in the Incheon area and increase funding to foster future strategic industries and startups. The bank said it signed three agreements with Incheon on Aug. 14, including a co-growth pact, support for ABC+E sectors and an investment accord for an Incheon Unicorn Fund. The fund will be set up at 200 billion won to invest in local startups and growth firms.
