Jeong Woo-jin of NHN set for fourth term after record annual operating profit
NHN will submit an agenda item at its March 26 annual general meeting to reappoint CEO Jeong Woo-jin as an inside director. Jeong has led NHN for 12 years since taking office in 2014. The company posted its highest annual operating results since a split, with revenue rising 2.5 percent to 2.5163 trillion won and operating profit returning to 132.4 billion won. NHN is also preparing six new game launches.

NHN posts record annual sales and operating profit in 2025
NHN reported record annual results as major business areas including games, payments and technology grew evenly, it said. The company posted 2025 consolidated revenue of 2.52 trillion won and operating profit of 132.4 billion won. Annual revenue rose 2.5 percent from a year earlier and operating profit returned to positive territory. Fourth-quarter revenue and operating profit were also record highs, supported by growth in the payments and technology units.

NHN union says affiliates down 40 percent, calls for job security
A union affiliated with the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and its NHN branch held a news conference on Jan. 22 outside NHN’s headquarters in Seongnam, calling for job security measures tied to a сокращение in affiliates. The union said NHN’s affiliates fell to 65 in 2025 from 104 in 2021, with about 40 percent sold or liquidated. It cited repeated recommended resignations after business closures and reorganisations and raised concerns about redeployment procedures and an alleged breach of a collective agreement.
