NHN KCP unveiled a payment infrastructure that links the entire process from payment to transaction confirmation, merchant management and settlement, assuming a won-denominated stablecoin.
NHN KCP said on Wednesday it demonstrated stablecoin-based payment and settlement technology at 'Korea Blockchain Week 2026 (KBW2026)' held at the Walkerhill Hotel & Resort in Seoul from Sept. 30 to Oct. 1.
The demonstration used a payment-focused mainnet built by NHN KCP. Payment data was recorded on the mainnet in about 0.5 seconds and reflected in a digital wallet within about 1 second. It features a single flow that connects transaction confirmation, merchant management and settlement after payment.
Visitors can directly try payments assuming a won stablecoin using the NHN KCP digital wallet in the PAYCO app. They can also check how transaction history and settlement information are reflected on the merchant administrator page.
An NHN KCP official said, "We will continue to upgrade the technology base that can be applied to real commerce while responding to related制度 and changes in the market environment."
