Trump Media and Technology Group transferred an additional 2,628 bitcoin to Crypto.com, taking its cumulative bitcoin sales over the past seven months to 7,281 BTC. Cointelegraph reported that the company’s bitcoin holdings have fallen to 4,261 BTC. The latest transfer was worth about $165 million. Seven-month cumulative sales were about $545 million, with an average sale price of $74,855 per bitcoin, while remaining holdings were valued at $269.8 million.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said a sitting president should not participate directly in the cryptocurrency market, arguing that U.S. President Donald Trump’s involvement in crypto businesses fuels conflict-of-interest concerns. The comments followed Senator Elizabeth Warren’s opposition to a revised Clarity bill, which she said does not adequately prevent Trump from profiting while in office. Republicans have proposed an ethics amendment, but the bill’s passage and timing remain uncertain.
