Line Games replaces co-CEO, expands lineup to boost results

Line Games said on Thursday it appointed Cho Dong-hyun, its current chief executive, and former chief strategy officer Bae Young-jin as co-CEOs. The company plans to step up its multi-title strategy and increase the share of PC titles in global markets, unveiling at least three new PC games this year starting with \"Ember and Blade\". In mobile, it will proceed with a China launch of \"Uncharted Waters Origin\" and a global launch of \"The War of Genesis Mobile\".

Nexon CEO Lee Jung-heon cuts incentive by 50 percent over Maple Growing controversy

Lee Jung-heon (이정헌), chief executive of Nexon’s Japan unit, will cut by 50 percent the incentive allocated to him for 2025, taking responsibility for a controversy over probabilities in “Maple Growing” and the resulting large-scale refunds. Nexon said it would overhaul work systems and corporate culture to prevent a recurrence and restore user trust. It also said the manager in charge resigned and others were disciplined.
