OpenAI’s GPT-5.5-based Codex has been deployed on Nvidia Blackwell systems, with more than 10,000 Nvidia employees beginning to use it. Nvidia said the rollout cut costs to one-35th of GPT-4o levels and increased token output per megawatt by 50 times. Codex has expanded beyond coding help to an agent tool supporting non-technical work across departments. Nvidia employees praised the results, and Jensen Huang said agents do work beyond answering questions.

As AI agents begin executing transactions as economic actors, crypto infrastructure may be better suited than traditional finance, Alchemy co-founder and CEO Nikhil Viswanathan (니킬 비스와나탄) said. He said modern finance is built around human conditions such as bank hours, national payment boundaries and physical identity. AI agents operate online, globally and without downtime. Viswanathan said crypto can meet needs for borderless microtransactions and code-based control of funds, and proposed a model where agents automate wallet management and transactions.
