Adobe camera app adds AI photo rating and editing suggestions

Adobe has added AI-based photo evaluation and editing suggestion features to its experimental iOS camera app, Project Indigo. The update uses a large language model to assess composition, lighting, color and emotional impression and to recommend adjustments. New tools also advise how to reshoot a scene and how to edit in Adobe Lightroom. Meta has unveiled a new AI image generation model, stepping into the generative AI image market. A comparison test using five identical prompts rated OpenAI\'s ChatGPT highest for overall prompt understanding and consistency. The test pitted Meta\'s model against ChatGPT and Google\'s image generator Nano Banana 2 across tasks such as product posters, wildlife images, Instagram promotions, four-panel comics and a noir-style scene. Google launches \'Nano Banana2 Lite\' at half the price, 2.7 times faster

Google has launched an image-generation model called Nano Banana2 Lite, targeting demand for lower cost and faster processing. The model can generate a 1K-resolution image for about $0.034 and is known to cost about half as much as Nano Banana2 at the same resolution while running 2.7 times faster. Officially named Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite Image, it is positioned as an entry-level replacement for the existing Nano Banana.
