Shinhan Bank says it ranks No. 1 in financial sector for retirement pension assets
Shinhan Bank said on Tuesday it ranked first across South Korea’s financial sector in retirement pension assets, recording 54.7 trillion won based on disclosures on the Financial Supervisory Service’s integrated pension portal. It attributed the result to balanced growth across defined benefit, defined contribution and individual retirement pension products, supported by long-term returns. The bank said it is expanding performance-linked offerings, including ETFs and TDFs, and is running an event for DC and IRP customers.

Shinhan Bank to give silver coins to users of precious metals investment content
Shinhan Bank said on Thursday it will run an event through June 12 for users of its Shinhan SOL Bank app. Customers aged 19 or older can participate by viewing the “Precious Metals Investment Story” content on the app’s event page. All participants will receive 100 My Shinhan Points. The bank will also draw 20 winners to receive a 1-ounce silver coin.

Shinhan Bank launches SOL Fantasy Baseball to expand interactive baseball content
Shinhan Bank said on Monday it will launch SOL Fantasy Baseball on March 28, the opening day of the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League. The gamification service uses baseball game records. Users choose players, build a lineup and earn points based on real-game performance, which determines rankings. The bank will give My Shinhan Points to all participants and offer top monthly scorers KBO table seats and catering.
