Shinhan Bank said on Tuesday it will hold an event for customers using its SOL Travel debit card and SOL Trip & Shop debit card to mark cumulative spending on the SOL Travel debit card surpassing 5 trillion won.

First, Shinhan Bank will run a SOL Travel debit card lucky event through Feb. 20. Customers who newly issue a SOL Travel debit card or use it in Korea or overseas will be entered into a prize draw for 1 million My Shinhan Points for 3 winners and Starbucks Americano gift vouchers for 2,023 winners.

Through Feb. 20, customers who newly issue a SOL Trip & Shop debit card or use it for overseas online direct purchases will be eligible if they meet usage performance conditions. The bank will offer benefits via a prize draw, including 2,026,000 My Shinhan Points for 1 winner, 10,000 My Shinhan Points for 1,000 winners, and airport lounge passes and overseas eSIM coupons for 1,000 winners.

Shinhan Bank also plans to hold a tie-up event with Shilla Duty Free from Jan. 19 for customers departing overseas.

A Shinhan Bank official said the SOL Travel debit card surpassing 5 trillion won in spending reflects steady customer choice in travel and overseas payments. The official said the bank will continue to expand benefits and services that customers can feel across travel and overseas spending.
