Shinhan Bank said on March 24 it will launch SOL Fantasy Baseball, a gamification service using baseball game records, on March 28, the opening day of the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League.
SOL Fantasy Baseball is interactive content in which users choose players, build a lineup and earn points based on actual game performance. It combines the existing fantasy sports format with financial rewards.
Users participate as virtual club owners and can freely select players. Actual game records such as hits, home runs, getting on base and strikeouts are converted into points. Rankings are calculated on that basis, and users can check their position based on the results of each game.
Shinhan Bank plans to provide My Shinhan Points to all participating customers. It will also provide KBO League table-seat tickets and food-and-beverage catering services to the customer with the highest cumulative monthly score. Customers ranked from second to 100th each month will receive My Shinhan Points worth 50,000 won.
A Shinhan Bank official said the service was prepared so baseball fans can take part by building lineups rather than just watching. The official said the bank plans to keep expanding customer-participation content that combines sports and finance.
