Mydata company BankSalad on Thursday introduced popular cards tailored to cutting dining costs, as demand for eating out has increased amid the popularity of cooking entertainment shows such as Black and White Chef 2.

Dining-focused cards currently in a cashback event on BankSalad include Shinhan Card Mr.Life, Shinhan Card First (ANNIVERSE), Woori Card 7CORE and KB Card My WE:SH.

Shinhan Card Mr.Life offers a 10 percent discount on payments at all restaurants between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m., making it useful for late-night meals and dining out late. Shinhan Card First (ANNIVERSE) awards My Shinhan Points worth 5 percent of payments at general restaurants, and also provides a 5 percent points benefit at coffee chains and convenience stores.

Woori Card 7CORE offers a 10 percent statement discount when using delivery apps and coffee chains. Users can also receive a 10 percent statement discount at large supermarkets and Kurly.

KB Card My WE:SH offers a 10 percent discount at restaurants and convenience stores. It also offers a 30 percent discount on OTT payments including Netflix, YouTube Premium, Wavve, Tving and Disney Plus.

All 4 cards provide cashback and discount events when issued through BankSalad.

A BankSalad official said, "With the popularity of Black and White Chef 2, the F&B industry is also drawing attention, and the click-through rate for the dining category has increased in BankSalad's card benefits filtering." The official added, "On BankSalad, users can filter to view only cards in the categories they want, such as fine dining and premium cards, and it also provides cashback and discount events, allowing users to experience issuing a card that saves on dining costs while receiving benefits."
