Nota posts 8.5 billion won in Q2 orders, 20 billion won in first half

Nota, an artificial intelligence model light-weighting and optimisation company, said on Thursday it recorded about 8.5 billion won in orders in the second quarter of 2026, up 207 percent from about 2.8 billion won a year earlier. It said cumulative orders in the first half, including the first quarter, totalled about 20 billion won. The company cited growth in its Netspresso platform and its NVA solution business.

Mobilint signs deals with two Taiwan firms to target industrial AI market

AI chip specialist Mobilint has signed agreements with two Taiwan industrial computing companies, ADLINK Technology and Getac Technology, to expand in global markets. Mobilint said it will apply its AI NPU chip and full-stack software development kit to the companies\' platforms. The partners plan to jointly develop edge AI solutions for industrial sites and conduct sales and marketing for global customers. The tie-ups stem from partnerships formed at COMPUTEX 2026.

IITP to boost full-stack linking AI semiconductors and physical AI to respond to AX 2.0

South Korea\'s Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP) is strengthening full-stack competitiveness by linking AI semiconductors, physical AI and next-generation networks, it said. It aims to respond to the spread of agentic AI and physical AI in industrial sites in the AX 2.0 era. IITP outlined R&D and talent development plans, including support for AI semiconductor firms, 6G and satellite communications, cybersecurity initiatives, defence AX programmes and expanded AI training.
