In agentic AI era, total cost matters more than token price, model performance is key
As agentic AI spreads, economic efficiency will depend less on token prices and more on how quickly tasks are completed with fewer errors, participants at a National Assembly forum in Seoul said. A2Sys CEO Lee Dong-soo said agentic AI can consume far more tokens than existing generative AI as agents exchange context and repeat failed steps. Officials said the government will focus on agentic capabilities in domestic model development and plans token-efficiency technologies and an AI operating system.
