Miso Information Technology chairman Ahn Dong-wook wins presidential citation for ICT service

Miso Information Technology said on Tuesday its chairman, Ahn Dong-wook (안동욱), received a presidential citation at the 2026 Science and ICT Day ceremony for contributions to national industrial development based on data and artificial intelligence. The event, marking the 59th Science Day and 71st ICT Day, was attended by senior officials including Prime Minister Kim Min-seok. Government awards were presented to people who contributed to science, technology and ICT advancement.

Miso Information Technology unveils first data and domain-specific \'agent AI\'

Miso Information Technology said on April 13 it will take part in the 9th International Artificial Intelligence Expo, AI EXPO KOREA 2026, in Seoul from May 6 to 8. At booth B11, it will present domain-specific AI solutions centered on its ACTIC AI orchestration platform, VIIX next-generation AI OCR, DAXI intelligent manufacturing platform and SMART BIG multimodal data platform. It plans to run live demonstrations and offer consulting programs for companies and public institutions.

Miso Information Technology launches ViiX OCR that understands medical, manufacturing and construction documents

Miso Information Technology said on Monday it will launch ViiX, a third-generation optical character recognition solution based on a vision-language model. The company said ViiX is a domain-specific OCR product that uses large language models to understand and convert into data a range of documents created in hospitals and in manufacturing and construction sites. It analyzes layout, fonts, spatial structure and context to enable structured data, search, analysis and task automation.
